 Karel Goorts is the inventor of 3 generations of AADs, since 1993. He’s an experienced skydiver with some 5000 jumps. He is tandemmaster/examiner, master rigger and former member of the Belgian S&A and Para-ski teams.

 William van heerden is our Dutch logistics specialist. He started skydiving in 1984 logged 2500 skydives and has a tandem rating. William does the reporting concerning R&D. Before Argus he had quite some frontline postings for the International Red Cross in Rwanda, Chechnya, CIS, Kosovo, Afghanistan and Indonesia. From the hotspots in the world he moved to the hotspots of skydiving technology. William assisted Karel with the previous generations of AAD's.

 Wim Kauffman logged over 5000 jumps. He has about every instructor-rating that you can get. He’s in charge of the ‘evangelisation’ in military and sporting environments.
Wim has also actively taken part in the testing of the previous generation of AADs.

 Jacqueline Petersborg is the partner of Karel Goorts. She’s a former member of the Belgian S&A ladies team with more than 1500 jumps. She also is a pilot. She’s in charge of the administration.

Willy Driessens started his career in 1971 at the Belgian Parachute Regiment. In 1995 he became the right hand of the Military Attaché at the Belgian Embassy in Washington, DC, (USA). In his younger days he was an active competitor in as well civil as military parachuting. With qualifications ranging from civil instructor and tandem master up to military HALO and HAHO he is a sure asset for our team.

 

 Yannick Goorts. Son of Karel and Jacqueline. With 15 years old, he was one of Belgium's youngest skydivers. Now, at the age of 16 and 100 skydives later, he helps as a goodwill ambassador. He's quite fanatic about the sport, the sport equipment and, of course, his Argus.

 Tania Goorts daughter of Karel and Jaqueline is an enthusiastic sports woman; she likes horseback riding, athletics, biking and skydiving. She feels the need for speed and moreover, she is adding a nice touch of female charm to our sales team; Karel Goorts brother Peter is also an enthousiast skydiver. The father of Jaqueline, who passed recently away, was an instructor in the spa parachute club.

Patrik Aberg is Swedish. Former sales manager of a division of AT&T in Belgium, he’ll develop the Scandinavian market. Patrik speaks fluently Dutch, French, English and Swedish.

 Charles Carlier is in charge of communications. He is the webmaster and also writes the manuals and the press-releases. He is an electronic engineer with many years of experience in R&D. He’s no skydiver, but nobody’s perfect.
